The cost of laying burial or aerial fiber was cost prohibitive, so a BridgeWave AR80 with AES was chosen as the primary link at 1 gbps, and a Cambium PTP 650 with AES was chosen as a backup link at 450 mbps. It was installed providing full network connectivity to two buildings half mile apart with clear line of site.
